He earned his Juris Doctor from the Ateneo de Manila University School of Law and holds a Bachelor of Science in Marketing from San Sebastian College.

His illustrious career in public service includes serving as Executive Director of the House of Representatives during the 17th Congress, Assistant Secretary of the Department of Education, Executive Assistant at the Office of the City Mayor of Caloocan, and Provincial Board Member of Masbate.

Having served across the legislative and executive branches of government, Atty. Abelita possesses a rare depth of institutional understanding, political acumen, and strategic foresight cultivated through decades of navigating the complexities of public governance.
